I, Bob Meli, do not know at present time May 6, 2018 what Jeanne’s relation is to James A. Barlow, if any.  They are both listed in
Teresa Martin’s book on New Milford veterans in World War II and they
both lived and graduated from New Milford Junior High School, so chances are they are related in some way and may be brother and sister.

Jeane Barlow was listed on the Original Wall Unit display along with these other women.  We are pretty sure there were other women from Hackensack who are not listed.  The women are: Alice Root,  Barbara PerrineBernice Stevenson, Eleanor Pfeiffer,
Irene Barnes, Jeanne Barlow, Elizabeth Kingsley,  Geraldine Eckhardt, and Bernice Preen

All are listed in that order on the first row of the Veterans Wall Unit at Hackensack High School.  Anita Faller is another woman who was not listed on the Wall Unit. We came to find out that she served along with her brother, Louis Faller, during World War II.
